Two persons were killed in a collision involving two lorries on the V.M. Banjara-Kalluru highway near Ramakrishnapuram in Kalluru mandal early on Tuesday morning. A Haryana-bound lorry carrying lemon rammed another lorry on the outskirts of Ramakrishnapuram at around 6 a.m. The driver of one of the lorries and an occupant of another lorry were killed on the spot. The police identified one of the deceased as Shahid (25) of Haryana. The identity of another victim could not be established immediately. The Kalluru police registered a case and are investigating.
