RGUKT counselling on July 23 and 24

Counselling for shortlisted candidates in the open and reserved category for admission into Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) with campuses at Basar, Nuzvid and Idupulapaya is on July 23 and 24.

On Monday, the provisional list of shortlisted candidates for 2,807 seats for admission into six-year integrated B. Tech programme for 2014-15 was released by HRD Minister for Andhra Pradesh, Ganta Srinivas Rao.

Along with the shortlisted candidates, RGUKT officials also released the waiting list. “Shortlisted candidates who do not attend the counselling on July 23 and 24 will forfeit their claim for admission. The counselling for waiting list candidates will be held on July 27 to allot left over seats. For 1,000 seats in Telangana, we received 12,463 applications of which 985 have been allocated,” said RGUKT Vice-Chancellor, R.V. Rajkumar.

Counselling for students in the special category including sports quota, NCC, physically-handicapped and children of armed personnel will be taken up between July 17 and July 18. The list of students will be uploaded on the university website (www.rgukt.in) after releasing the admission results. The shortlisted and waiting list candidates will also be intimated through SMS and post.
