Assistant Professor K. Raja Ram took charge as the Head, Department of Mass Communication, Telangana University. He will serve in this position for a period of two years.
He succeeds K. Shiva Shankar, who is deputed as Officer on Special Duty to Telangana Legislative Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud. Mr. Raja Ram has earlier served as the chairman, Board of Studies of Mass Communication. Currently he is the Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Social Sciences Research (IJSSR), a reputed journal in the faculty of social sciences.
He has more than a decade of journalistic experience in various English newspapers before joining as the academic in Telangana University.
