The passengers of an APSRTC bus bound for Bhadrachalam had a miraculous escape when the super luxury bus in which they were travelling ploughed into a roadside agricultural field near Gopalraopet in Kusumanchi mandal in the wee hours of Sunday.
The incident occurred when the bus driver applied sudden breaks to avoid hitting a roadside tree and a stationary lorry on the outskirts of Gopalraopet on Suryapet-Khammam main road.
