Political opportunists from TDP ruling TRS, says BJP

March 03, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - WARANGAL:

BJP leader T Rajeswar Rao has warned the Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and other TDP leaders who joined the TRS to desist making uncharitable remarks against the BJP and its candidate Errabelli Rammohan Rao.

The TDP leaders who formed into a gang depriving the real activists of Telangana are now ruling the TRS and resorting to personal attacks on clean candidates like Mr Rammohan Rao.

“The real A team of TDP is now in TRS. They are political opportunists who usurped the chances of genuine activists of Telangana movement. They have no moral right to criticize others,” Mr Rajeswar Rao lashed out.

The TRS Ministers Kadiam Srihari, A Chandulal, Tummala Nageswar Rao and others staunchly opposed the separate Telangana movement and foiled cases against students. Mr Tummala Nageswar Rao did not allow a martyrs memorial to be built. Now they all claim to be working for ‘Bangaru Telangana’ which is nothing but farce.

The TRS lost its relevance with the TDP leaders joining it and with its anti-people policies for the past nine months. The people of Telangana have been waiting to teach a lesson to the ruling TRS party and this MLC election would show it the place it deserves.

BJP leaders Mr Rajeswar Rao, N Venugopal Reddy, A Ashok Reddy and others appealed to graduates to vote for Errabelli Rammohan Rao and set a good trend of sending genuine people to Legislative Council rather than support the cash rich and opportunists. Mr Venugopal Reddy accused the ruling TRS party of trying to win the MLC election with money but it would not succeed in its attempts. “People have already decided to elect BJP candidate in MLC elections. The fear among TRS leaders and their desperation amply indicates sure victory of BJP,” he said.
