‘Paint Your Dreams’, students told

The Telangana University which is gearing up for the NAAC accreditation is launching an ambitious programme titled ‘Paint Your Dreams’ to prepare students to face future challenges in life.

Innovative programme

Senior IAS officer C. Parthasarathi, who took over recently as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of the university, has come out with the innovative programme aimed at honing the skills of the students.

The programme will be launched formally on Wednesday in the university main campus at Dichpally by the V-C, who will inaugurate the Competitive Examinations coaching centre at the College of Law and will have an interface with the students of the campus at the College of Computer Science and Engineering.

As part of the Paint Your Dreams programme, the varsity’s three different wings i.e., Equal Opportunities Cell, Competitive Examinations Coaching Centre and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell will coordinate motivational, guidance, training and coaching programmes for the benefit of students.

“It is not just for competitive examinations, as it would continuously mentor students to set goals for themselves and evolve a strategy to realise them,” said R Limbadri, Registrar of the university.

The Vice-Chancellor is emphasizing the need to train the students as job-creators rather than the job-seekers. He is always stressing on improving entrepreneurial skills among students and this programme is one in that direction,” Prof. Limbadri added.

The Registrar has reviewed the arrangements and training programmes for the students with K. Aparna, Director, Equal Opportunities Cell, G. Bala Srinivasa Murthy, Director, Competitive Examination Coaching Centre, and K. Lakshmana Chakravarthi, Director, Career Guidance and Placement Cell.

As part of the programme, series of training and coaching programmes will be organised on the university campus.
