NTPC director urges officials to safeguard the environment

National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) Director (operations) K.K. Sharma has called upon officials to step up production while also striving to protect the environment.

Speaking after inaugurating the 14th Regional Operational Performance Review (ROPR) at NTPC Ramagundam on Thursday, he urged officials to optimise production cost by improving the man and megawatt ratio to remain the market leader. He also interacted with the executives and office-bearers of various unions. He inspected the 10 MWs solar power plant and reviewed its performance with senior officials. Earlier, NTPC Ramagundam executive director R.K. Srivatsava highlighted Ramagundam’s achievements during this financial year. Senior officials from the Corporate Centre Southern region headquarters were present.
