Deputy Chief Minister and in-charge of Revenue Mohammed Mahamood Ali has opined that formation of new districts by bifurcating or trifurcating the existing ones would take the administration closer to people.
At each revenue division headquarters town, an integrated Government offices would be set up. Proposals for formation of a new mandal with Alur headquarters would be positively considered, he said while addressing the gathering of people after opening the new Revenue Divisional Office in Armoor on Wednesday.
He said the Government led by K. Chandrashekar Rao had been working in accordance with the expectations and aspirations of the people.

The State stood as an example in the formulation and implementation of welfare and developmental programmes and in the next five years it would emerge as most developed State in the entire country, he added.
Mr. Mahamood Ali said that many big companies were showing interest in investing in the State and efforts were on to correct the injustice meted out to it in the last 60 years.
The Chief Minister had a special interest in the district and it became number one in the State by doing land mutations to 20,000 people, he said.

It may be recalled here that after the formation of the Telangana State for the first time a new revenue division was opened in Armoor town by bifurcating the Nizamabad division.
Eight mandals were brought under its purview.
Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy said that the new districts would start functioning from the Dassara festival and Kamareddy would be made a new district.
The number of revenue divisions would go up to 60, at the rate of one for two Assembly constituencies, he said.
For the administrative convenience additional districts, divisions and mandals were needed, he said adding that a meeting would be held shortly with elected representatives to discuss the conditions prevailing in the district.
