Mega job mela conducted in Karimnagar

State government was taking all steps to help create employment opportunities in the private sector, Minister for Home and Labour Nayini Narasimha Reddy said.

Speaking after inaugurating a job mela here, the Minister said that the government had facilitated employment to over 12,811 persons by conducting similar job melas across the State.

Mr. Nayini Narasimha Reddy along with Minister for Finance Eatala Rajender formally inaugurated the mega job mela conducted at the SRR Government Degree and PG College in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

A total of 30 companies from a number of sectors including software, insurance, realty, fertilizers, chemicals and fabrication, among others, from Karimnagar and Hyderabad participated in the job mela to recruit the youth. The recruitment was conducted for a variety of job openings for candidates who studied from SSC to PG level.

Legislators G. Kamalakar, B. Shoba, MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, Mayor S. Ravinder Singh, district employment officer Ch. Umarani and others were present.
