Around 21 RTC striking employees died in despair unable to bear the “vindictive attitude” of the TRS government towards their indefinite strike for just demands since October 5, she charged. The misrule of the TRS dispensation reached unbearable proportions causing agony to all sections, she charged. She accused the persons at the helm of playing with the lives of 48,000 striking RTC employees by resorting to “intimidating tactics” without heeding to the advice of the High Court to end the impasse amicably to avoid inconvenience to public. “The TRS regime will face serious consequences if it continues to adopt dictatorial policies,” she warned.

Later, she participated in a candle light demonstration organised by the Congress cadres here in protest against the killing of the Abdullapurmet Tahsildar.
