KITS students get good placements

A total of 350 students from the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) have secured placements during a special drive on the campus here.

Institute director Y. Manohar said students of B. Tech, M. Tech and MBA got placements in several Indian and multi-national companies with a highest package of ₹10.13 lakh and an average package of ₹3.5 lakh per year. As many as 96 core and software companies visited the campus from all over the country such as GE Digital, Tech Mahindra, HPE, Cyient, Virtusa Polaris, IBM (GBS process), Design Tribe India, Sia Group, Experis IT for IBM, Mercedez Benz Retail and RSV Bridge Constructions, among others.

Rajya Sabha member and secretary of the institute Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao congratulated the students and teachers. He said KITS has achieved 3rd rank among all private engineering colleges in Telangana State and got 59 rank among private engineering colleges in India. Recently, it was listed among the top colleges by the Data Quest Cyber Media Best Tech. School Survey, New Delhi.
