BJP National executive committee member Nagam Janardhan Reddy has alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had insulted the TRS legislators by providing Cabinet berths to the TDP defectors.
“Providing Ministerial posts to TDP defectors is an insult to the TRS legislators,” he said and asked whether the people have elected inefficient TRS legislators.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, he ridiculed the Chief Minister for encouraging the Telangana traitors (TDP leaders), who had opposed the statehood movement tooth and nail and encouraged the integrated Andhra Pradesh cause. Reminding that Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao himself stated that TDP leaders were Telangana traitors, he wanted to know “how the enemies had turned into friends”.

He demanded that the Chief Minister should explain to the people about the inclusion of TDP leaders into the Cabinet and neglect of his own party legislators. Alleging that the TRS was running dynasty rule , he charged that the Ministers were also unable to take decisions on their own.
Ridiculing the claims of the Chief Minister that he would transform Karimnagar on a par with London and New York cities, he said that the town had turned from bad to worse as was evident from the bad roads and unscientific execution of drainage works etc. He suggested that the Chief Minister should first visit London and New York cities before making such announcement.
Demanding that the government first focus on the completion of pending irrigation projects, he said that the government should link the Rural Water Supply (RWS) and irrigation departments for effective performance of proposed water grid at a lesser cost. He also flayed the government for non-release of pensions to several eligible persons. BJP district president M. Arjun Rao, town president Bandi Sanjay Kumar and others were also present.
