‘Govt. will implement all development projects’

Endowment Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy said that the State government was committed to implementing all development projects included in the Yadagirigutta Development plan to provide best facilities to pilgrims.

Mr. Indrakaran Reddy was on his first visit to the hill shrine after taking charge as Endowment Minister.

The temple priests and Executive Officer N. Geetha accorded a warm welcome to Mr. Indrakaran Reddy and his family members here on Thursday.

The Endowment Minister said that the Chief Minister had taken the observations of many experts into consideration before finalising the development plan.

Keeping his promise, Mr. Reddy said that the Chief Minister had allocated Rs. 100 crore in the recent budget to expedite the development of the hill shrine.

“The Chief Minister also visited Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple twice to monitor the progress of the development plan during the past couple of months,” he said.

As part of the ongoing Danurmasa Utsavams, the presiding deity was taken out in a procession around the mada streets on Friday morning.

Nithyakalyanam and various other pujas were performed.
