The State Government on Wednesday accorded administrative approval for Rs. 55.78 crore for the maintenance of Argula Rajaram Guthpa lift irrigation scheme in Nizamabad district.
Principal Secretary (Irrigation) B. Aravinda Reddy said in the orders issued on Wednesday that administrative approval was given to Rs. 28,34,57,200 expenditure made on the operation and maintenance of the two pumping stations of the scheme during August 1, 2013 and July 31, 2014.
Similarly, on the request of the Commissioner, Planning and Development of Godavari Basin, the administrative approval for Rs. 59,05,78,357 was given for the maintenance work from August 1, 2013 to July 31, 2015.
