Criticises E.S.L Narasimhan for praising TRS

TPCC general secretary B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said that Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan is talking in favour of the ruling parties both in Telangana and A.P., instead of acting impartially. It is unfortunate that the Governor is showering praises on the govt. for Kaleswaram project, but turned a blind eye towards corruption “to the tune of hundreds of crores in the execution,” he alleged.

Mr. Goud said that the Governor often praising TRS and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family members gives scope for other political parties to suspect his very moral stand, adding that the head of the Constitution in the State should treat everyone on equal footing.

Mahesh accused the TRS leadership of forcibly diverting water from Nizam Sagar Project (NSP) to Sircilla and Siddipet through Mid Manair Dam for the first time in the 85 year history of the project. This was done against the interests of farmers and people of Nizamabad, he said. “We don’t discriminate against farmers. Farmers are equal everywhere. But, first the interests of farmers of the NSP ayacut must be addressed before diverting its water to other districts,” he said.
