Financial aid distributed

MP Kadiam Srihari has said the government would strive to provide quality education to the children of farmers who committed suicides.

The families of deceased farmer would get housing and other benefits as well he said addressing the widows, women and residents of Atmakur mandal headquarters here on Tuesday. Mr. Srihari and MLA Ch. Dharma Reddy distributed interest free financial assistance to the widows of farmers who committed suicide owing to crop loss and debts. The financial assistance was facilitated by Sarvodaya Youth Organisation.

Forty bereaved families were given an interest-free loan of Rs. 50,000 each. The financial assistance has been provided with the generous support extended by Singapore based philanthropist Amita Dholakia Chaudhury.
