Eye surgeries on children at LVPEI Adilabad

There is good news for parents whose children suffer from eye ailments as surgeries to correct them will now be performed locally at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Adilabad.

A team of doctors, headed by Head of Paediatric Ophthalmology, LVPEI, Hyderabad, Ramesh K and members anaesthetist Uppalgandi, doctors Raja Narsing Rao and Vishwas and others performed two surgeries for correction of squint on a four and a seven-year-old children on Saturday. According to LVPEI Administrative Officer Naresh Rao, the team will perform surgeries at Adilabad LVPEI on the second Friday of every month.
