The Singareni Employees’ Wives Association (SEWA) will conduct various events such as tug-of-war and musical chair for women at Prakasam stadium in Kothagudem on March 7.
According to SEWA sources, the sports events will be organised under the aegis of the SEWA Corporate Area wing at the stadium on Saturday evening. Apart from the members of SEWA and women employees of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), women belonging to Kothagudem town can also participate in the competitive events.
Prizes will be distributed to the winners of the events at a ceremony to be held on the occasion of International Women’s Day at Singareni Women’s Degree College on Sunday evening.
