With just a few days to go for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) plenary slated to be held here on April 27, the ruling party has expedited the process of making elaborate arrangements to host the mega event on a grand scale in Khammam, considered the political nerve centre of Telangana State.

The sprawling Cherukuri gardens, the venue of the delegates session, and the SR&BGNR Government Degree College ground, the venue of the public meeting, are being spruced up with pink banners and cut-outs of leaders in connection with the ruling party’s plenary to mark the 15th anniversary of the founding of the TRS party.

According to sources, a new road has been laid on a war-footing to ensure hassle-free access to a mango grove near Cherukuri gardens where food will be served to thousands of TRS delegates expected to participate in the one-day plenary on April 27.
