It’s beautiful and clean,” Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao said while addressing the meeting of Gajwel Nagara Panchayat.

The Chief Minister has also proposed two auditoriums with a seating capacity of 500 and 1,200 respectively and abundant parking place, municipal cum water works office, bus stand, shaadi khana, police complex, transforming existing hospital into Mother and Child care centre and establishing a 100-bed hospital, Smritivanam (graveyard), improvement of market yard and renovation of Pandavulacheruvu. He directed officials to commence tank work immediately and complete it before the rainy season.

“Clear all encroachments that obstruct the renovation of the tank. The Collector and police officials will be with you,” he told the irrigation officials. Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Nachagiri and offered ‘pattu vastralu’. Collector Rahul Bojja, Joint Collector A. Sarath, Lok Sabha member K. Prabhakar Reddy, GADA special officer Hanumantha Rao and others were present.

Meanwhile, scribes raised slogans against the Chief Minister and government for not allowing them to cover the review meeting. Only few reporters were allowed inside the meeting hall.
