A delegation led by Association district president and secretary submits a memorandum to Collector listing 18 demands

The Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association, Adilabad branch, on Tuesday appealed to the government to reduce work burden on employees. The revenue employees have been under considerable pressure as they are being made to attend works to be discharged by other departments.

A delegation of the TRESA led by its district president M. Rajeshwar Reddy and secretary K. Chandra Shekhar submitted a memorandum to Collector M. Jagan Mohan enlisting 18 demands. The list discussed in detail the difficulties faced by the revenue employees which can actually be avoided.

Among the important issues mentioned in the memorandum are conducting video conferences only during office hours, pressure of work on being asked to attend duty on holidays and festivals, increase in vehicle hire charges from Rs. 12,000 per month to Rs. 24,000 per month to Tahsildars and release of payments towards charges of photocopying verification forms of Integrated Household Survey. The TRESA also urged the government to provide budget for attending protocol to Tahsildars of divisional headquarters and those from the mandals of Mudhole, Jainad and Neredigonda.
