‘Construction of toilets in schools will be completed soon’

Collector Rahul Bojja has said that the construction of toilets will be completed in schools by the end of the month.

Responding to some questions posed by Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on Thursday, Mr. Rahul Bojja said that the construction taken up by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan was almost complete while the construction taken up by Rural Water Supply (RWS) department was yet to be completed.

28 banks participate

Referring to crop loan and loan waiver, the Collector said that 28 banks had participated in the programme and utilisation certificates had already been submitted to the concerned authorities.

Rs. 16 cr. unutilised

Stating that about Rs. 16 crore was unutilised and Rs. 11 crore already refunded, he said that the remaining amount would also be refunded shortly.

Agriculture joint director B. Hukya Naik, Lead Bank Manager Ramana Reddy and others participated in the programme.
