Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender asked the farmers to be cautious about the dubious acts of the Opposition Congress and TDP.

The Congress and TDP had ruled the region for several decades and were responsible for the present plight of the farmers, he alleged and called upon the farmers not to trust the Andhra parties.

The committees such as Swaminathan, Ramachanna Reddy, Jayathi Ghosh and others have submitted reports making several recommendations to the government to take necessary measures to stop suicides by the farmers, but in vain, he stated.
