Telangana Tourism will organise a ‘Bathukamma Photo-National Photography Competition’ showcasing the embodiment of the spirit of Telangana on the theme, ‘Woman and Flowers’. It will be judged by a group of select jurors, comprising eminent photographers from the State.
The last date is October 31, 2015 and the cash award includes Rs. 1.5 lakh, Rs. 75,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 25,000, for the first, second, third and consolation prizes, respectively. Participants should hold copyrights for their images. Images may be uploaded atwww.bathukammaphoto.

Tourism Secretary B. Venkatesham said in a release that the festival had become an important part of the cultural renaissance movement of Telangana and now a State Festival. The competition will be at the national-level and looks at the indomitable spirit of women, he added.
