Balayya gears up for film 101 with Puri Jagannadh

Treat for fans Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Puri Jagannadh at the lauch of the yet-to-be-named film in Hyderabad on Thursday.

After touching the 100 mark with style with the historical action movie Gautamiputra Shatakarni , Nandamuri Balakrishna is now gearing up for an out-and-out commercial flick.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA is teaming up with director Puri Jagannadh for his next venture that will go on floors from March 16.

Buzzing with activity

On Thursday morning, a residential community in Kukatpally was buzzing with activity with the presence of noted names from the Telugu film industry and scores of Mr. Balakrishna’s fans.

Produced by V. Anand Prasad, Mr. Balakrishna’s 101st movie was launched in a temple in the Tulsi Vanam gated community.

Those who turned up to wish the actor included directors S.S. Rajamouli, Boyapati Srinu, and Krishh.

“This will be a crazy combination,” said Mr. Balakrishna amidst chants of ‘Jai Balayya.’ It was announced that the untitled movie would be released on September 29.

Addressing the fans gathered near the shooting location, Mr. Jagannadh said that he would make sure that the look and role of Mr. Balakrishna is as per their expectation.

Yet to be finalised

The complete cast and crew was yet to be finalised, including the leading lady.

After the first schedule, the movie would be shot in locations outside India.
