Awareness programme on Shram Suvidha organised

The Directorate General of Mines Safety of Union Ministry of Labour and Employment Department conducted an awareness programme on initiatives and new services by DGMS including the Prime Minister’s newly announced Shram Suvidha portal for the benefit of granite industry in Karimnagar town.

Representatives of DGMS Jaisal and Anand Agarwal explained about the Shram Suvidha portal, labour laws and other details pertaining to the mines. They also informed the granite quarry operators to upload all details about the labour to the portal to ensure transparency. They also explained about the grievance redressal through online. District granite quarry association leaders Gangula Sudhakar, R Tirupathi Goud, Eda Satish Reddy were present.
