The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has said that neither the Congress nor the BJP has any moral right to seek votes in Medak by-election as they have been creating hurdles in the development of the newly-formed Telangana State.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, TRS candidate Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, district president R. Satyanarayana and MLA Chinta Prabhakar said that victory of the party was a foregone conclusion and all efforts were aimed at getting a thumping majority.

“Now the fight is between those who fought for Telangana and traitors of Telangana.
While BJP candidate T. Jayaprakash Reddy had openly opposed formation of separate State in the past, Congress candidate V. Sunitha Lakshma Reddy never made any effort for creating Telangana and kept silent in the Cabinets of Andhra Chief Ministers.
How can these parties seek votes from the public?” they asked claiming that people were ready to support the TRS as it has been implementing all the promises made in the election manifesto.

They said that people were ready to teach a lesson to both the Congress and the BJP in the elections for merging seven mandals of Telangana in Andhra despite objections from people of the region.
Mr. Satyanarayana said they would expose the misdeeds of Mr. Jayaprakash while he was in power and his land dealings.
