A 60-year-old man died and 24 others fell sick after consuming adulterated toddy at Sangem village under Beerkur police station limits on Friday. An estimated 100 villagers consumed toddy at an outlet last night. While Mothiram died, the 24 others, half of them women, were taken ill. The affected persons were admitted to hospital.
