The Telangana Electricity Trade Unions Front (TETUF) has served a strike notice on State Government.

The union leaders said in the notice that they would go on an indefinite strike from June 15 stating that the employees of power utilities were forced to take to agitation as their demands were not met by the State Government.

In the notice served by E. Sridhar, TETUF Convenor, it said that about 34 issues pertaining to employees and contract workers were brought to the notice of the State Government time and again, but they were not resolved forcing the employees to embark on an indefinite strike.

“We have waited for 10 months but in all in this period only two meetings were held without any positive outcome on any single issue,” said the TETUF in its notice.
