Film actor Pawan Kalyan called on a critically ill young fan, who has been undergoing treatment for suspected viral encephalitis at a private hospital in the town on Friday afternoon.
B Sreeja, 12, a class VII student of Palvancha town, has been battling for life with acute neurological disorders at the local hospital for the past few days.

Mr. Pawan Kalyan arrived in the town in the afternoon after being informed about the inclination of the girl, who during the course of treatment in a Hyderabad-based hospital expressed her wish to see her favourite actor a couple of days ago. The Make A Wish foundation contacted the film hero and he readily agreed to fulfil the wish of his young fan.
Mr Pawan had spent more than half an hour alongside the bed of Sreeja at the intensive care unit of the private hospital here on Friday afternoon.
When her parents told him about her health condition and admiration for him, Mr Pawan broke down. He gifted a silver idol of Goddess Lakshmi to the ailing girl and wished her a speedy recovery.
The town police struggled to control the surging fans, who thronged the hospital premises in large numbers.
