The Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States Conference 2014 will be held at Chalmeda Ananda Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS) on the outskirts of Karimnagar from September 12 to 14.
AOI Karimnagar branch is organising the workshop and is making all arrangements for the success of the programme.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Tuesday, organising secretary Ch. Ramana Chary said that the conference will begin with formal lighting of lamp on September 12 by CAIMS chairman Ch. Laxminarasimha and Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) dean Vivekanand.

On September 12, a live surgery workshop will be conducted for the benefit of participants and PG students, followed by an interactive session.
The formal inauguration of the conference would be held on September 13 at CAIMS where Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Health T. Rajaiah will be chief guest. Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar, legislator Gangula Kamalakar and others will also attend.
He said that eminent ENT surgeons from the country and abroad will also attend. Already more than 500 registrations have been done, he said.

On the occasion of AOI conference, with all the ENT surgeons being busy with the arrangements for the conference, patients were informed to approach CAIMS and PIMS for emergency treatment as they had made arrangements for providing treatment at the respective medical colleges.
AOI Karimnagar chapter leaders K Prabhakar Reddy, L Ravikanth, Rajeshwar and others were also present.
