Etala inspects social welfare schools, hostels

Minister interacts with students, enquires about the problems they are facing

Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender conducted a whirlwind tour of various social welfare residential schools and hostels in Karimnagar mandal on Monday.

The Minister, along with Zilla Parishad chairperson Tula Uma, State Cultural Council chairperson Rasamayi Balakishan, MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, MLA G. Kamalakar, Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, and other dignitaries, began conducting surprise inspections from the early hours of the day and continued till late evening.

The dignitaries had breakfast and lunch with the residents of the hostels. Mr. Rajender inspected the kitchens, rooms, toilets, store room, drinking water facilities, and sanitation works, among others, at all the hostels.

He interacted with the students and enquired about the problems they were facing in terms of food quality, distribution of blankets, fine rice, proper vegetables, eggs, and uniforms.

The Minister instructed the authorities to provide quality food to the students and conduct special classes in the evenings. He assured the residents that he would solve their problems within a month.
