Eight injured as tractor overturns

As many as eight migrant farm labourers were injured, one of them critically, when the tractor-trolley they were travelling by turned upside down at R Kothagudem village in Charla mandal on Thursday.

The incident occurred when the driver of the tractor-trolley lost control while trying to avoid a pothole on the outskirts of R Kothagudem in the afternoon.

The tractor-trolley was carrying around 35 farm labourers from Teegala village in Chhattisgarh to chilli fields near Charla, when the accident took place.

The injured labourers were shifted to the Government area hospital in Bhadrachalam. The condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical.
