The CPI (M) Telangana State secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram has asked the TRS government to desist from toeing the line of the previous government, which followed "corporate-dictated" policies at the cost of the poor.

He was speaking at a public meeting held on the concluding day of the district level training camp for party cadres in Palvancha town on Sunday night.

Mr Veerabhadram said that imposition of conditions on the loan waiver for farmers and fee reimbursement scheme for students tantamount to diluting the pre-poll promises made by the ruling party to these sections.
