Indian National League (INL) on Monday announced its support to the ruling AIADMK in the December 4, by-election to Yercaud Assembly constituency.
INL would also campaign for the AIADMK candidate, INL president Syed J. Inayathullah said in a statement in Chennai.
The bypoll was necessitated by the death of sitting AIADMK MLA C. Perumal in July.

DMK has already nominated V. Maran as its candidate for the bypoll and appealed to all opposition parties to extend support to the party.
