Vijayakanth meets Karunanidhi

DMDK chief will also be meeting TMC leader G.K. Vasan, BJP TN chief Tamilisai Soundararajan, TNCC chief E.V.K.S. Elangovan and the Left leaders.

Spicing up the political scene in Tamil Nadu, DMDK chief Vijayakanth on Sunday decided to meet all opposition party leaders in the State, raising speculations of an anti-AIADMK front ahead of the Assembly elections next year.

Mr. Vijayakanth met DMK chief M. Karunanidhi early on Sunday morning at the latter's residence in Gopalapuram.

He will also be meeting TMC leader G.K. Vasan, BJP TN chief Tamilisai Soundararajan, TNCC chief E.V.K.S. Elangovan and the Left leaders during the course of the day.
