Vaiko’s son campaigns for MDMK candidate

Durai Vaiyapuri, son of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary Vaiko, took out a two-wheeler rally here on Tuesday in support of party candidate for Palayamkottai Assembly constituency K.M.A. Nizam.

After starting the procession from the party’s election office on South Bypass Road, Mr. Durai Vaiyapuri led the bike rally through NGO Colony, Perumalpuram, Maharaja Nagar, KTC Nagar, Samathanapuram and Gandhi Market before reaching Melapalayam.

Cadres of the MDMK, Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi and the Tamil Maanila Congress participated in the two-wheeler rally.
