Two Erode students among top rankers

Two students in Erode district are among the first rank achievers at the State-level with score of 499 out of 500.

The winners S. Deepthi of Shree Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Gobichettipalayam, and K.S. Janane of S.R.C.M.

Matriculation HSS at Punjai Puliampatti also share the district-first honours.

District Collector S. Prabakar and Chief Educational Officer P. Ayyannan felicitated the top-rankers and the second and third-rank achievers later in the day.

Six students in the second spot with a score of 498 constitute S. Aishwarya of Jaycees Matriculation HSS, M. Baby Shalini of Vellalar Matric HSS, J. Mounicka of Erode Hindu Kalvi Nilayam Matric HSS, C. Nisha of Bharathi Vidya Bhavan Matric HSS, K. Oviya of Shree Gurukulam HSS, and K. Pavithra of SVN Matric HSS.

As many as 35 students are in the third position with a total of 497.

Among government schools, two students share the first spot with a total of 496: C.M. Monisha of Government High School, Kalingiyam and D. Sriramprasath of Government High School, Kadathur.

Three students with a total of 495 have emerged second: R. Ishwarya of Government Girls’ HSS Bhavani, M. Surendar of Model School Nambiyur and S. Mohana Vadivelu of Government High School, Kalingiyam.

Eight students with a score of 494 are in the third spot among the candidates in government schools.

Similarly, the top-scorer among candidates in government-aided schools is K. Sivapriya of St. Mary's High School, Kolappalur, with a total of 496.

Two students sharing the second spot in this category with a total of 495 are S. Dharani and S. Preetha, both belonging to Kalaimagal Kalvi Nilayam Girls' Higher Secondary School.
