Two persons were arrested on the charges of sexually harassing a Bangladeshi woman here on Sunday. The arrested were Maayi (42) of Genguvarpatti in Theni district and Sri Devi alias Selvi of Jambuliampatti in Dindigul district.
The police said that the duo forced the Bangladeshi woman to prostitution.
Acting on a tip off, the police rescued the woman from a house at M.M. Kovilur. After preliminary investigation, the police found that the woman was abducted from Bangladesh and kept in the house. Some unidentified persons held her captive for a long time.

The rescued victim was sent to a home in Madurai for rehabilitation.
