Under Project Shakti, the party plans to empower the grassroot-level workers, get the opinions of the cadre, receive real-time updates on party membership, determine the booths where the party is strong and strengthen it in places where it is weak.

The Congress is planning to appoint 72 co-ordinators to reach out to the cadre in the 72 party districts via Project Shakti.

It will also appoint co-ordinators for revenue blocks, municipalities, corporations and town and village panchayats, said D. Selvam, general secretary of the TNCC.
