On the direction of the District Collector V. Dakshinamoorthy, V. R. Subbulakshmi, District Revenue Officer, will hold talks at the collectorate here on Monday.

The Collector had directed Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchengode, to hold negotiations with two groups on January 8. Both the groups were extended invitation to participate in the talks.

However, one group abstained without informing the authorities.

Despite sincere efforts, the authorities could not get in touch with the representatives of this group. Hence, the issue could not be settled then.
