Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam treasurer M.K. Stalin is copying the style of Pattali Makkal Katchi Youth Wing secretary and party’s Chief Ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss, according to PMK State president G.K. Mani.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said that Mr. Stalin was following the State-wide election campaign launched by Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss with the slogan ‘Change, Development’.
He said that the fate of the State would be changed if the PMK was given a chance to form government. The PMK would change the State in every sphere and provide a corruption-free government.

Mr. Mani said that the party’s priority was to bring total prohibition in the State for the relief of crores of women. Two lakh people were dying in the State every year due to liquor consumption.
The party called for compartmentalised reservation system in the State, which alone would ensure social justice for all communities, he said.
He was here to discuss with cadres the seventh south zone conference of the party to be organised in Tirunelveli on October 11. Party workers from Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Tuticorin district would participate in the conference, and the next conference would be held in Villupuram in the first week of November, Mr. Mani said.

The party had released a draft manifesto, and the final manifesto with inclusion of the expectations of the people would be released in 2016, and it would be called ‘People’s Charter (Makkal Sasanam)’.
Mr. Mani said that State government should stop buying power from private companies at a higher rate and resume buying from wind power companies giving power at a cheaper rate to tide over the present power crisis.
Asked about the party’s alliance strategy for the Assembly elections, Mr. Mani said that the PMK would align with parties which accepted Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss as Chief Ministerial candidate.
