Stalin assures laying second road to Tiruchengode hill temple

The need of the hour is pushing the state towards development path and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government alone will be able to achieve this, said M. K. Stalin, treasurer of the party here on Sunday.

The present AIADMK regime had failed in all fronts and the state had moved 50 years backward in the development front, Mr. Stalin said addressing an election meeting seeking support for DMK candidate for Tiruchengode constituency ‘Bar’ Elangovan.

Mr. Stalin said that the DMK manifesto has something for every section of society and all the assurances will be fulfilled sincerely.

Referring to the long pending demands of the people of Tiruchengode constituency, Mr. Stalin assured that a second road will be laid to the Tiruchengode hill temple, besides setting up of a special welfare board exclusively for the truck industry and its subsidiary units, laying new bypass road and ring road.

He also assured to simplify the formalities for registering the rig vehicles used in sinking bore wells with the transport department.

Mr. Stalin said that steps will also be taken for setting Kannagi Kottam in Tiruchengode and proper maintenance of Gandhi Ashram.

The DMK leader said that the party will ensure that the elected MLAs meet the people regularly and solve their grievances.

The party will punish the elected representatives who failed to live up to the expectations of the people who elected them.

Mr. Stalin also addressed elections meetings to seek support for the party candidates at Pallipalayam, Paramathi,

Rasipuram and Senthamangalam and for the Congress candidate in Namakkal town.
