Special Officer appointed for Dindigul Corporation

M. Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as Special Officer for Dindigul Corporation to process the extension of the corporation limits.

Talking to media persons here on Tuesday, she said she visited nine villages that would be merged with the corporation and interacted with the people.

Extension work

About proposed developments and fund flow, she said she was responsible only for extension work.

She assured to look into the objections raised by the residents of Pallapatti to merger of the panchayat with Dindigul Corporation. Ms. Vijayalakshmi earlier served as Tiruchi Corporation Commissioner.
