Special buses for Chithra Pournami festival

The Salem division of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Limited will operate special buses round the clock from different parts of the western districts of Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Namakkal from May 2 to May 4 in connection with the Chithra Pournami festival on May 3.

The TNSTC will operate the special buses from Salem to Tiruvannamalai (via Harur and Uthangarai); Dharmapuri to Tiruvannamalai (via Uthangarai); Krishnagiri to Tiruvannamalai (via Uthangarai); Hosur to Tiruvannamalai (via Uthangarai); Attur to Tiruvannamalai (via Kallakurichi); Dharmapuri to Palani; Krishnagiri to Palani; Hosur to Palani; Salem to Palani; Salem to Melmaruvathur; Salem to Madheswaran Hills in Karnataka State (via Mecheri and Mettur) and Mettur to Madheswaran Hills (via Kolathur and Palar).

The TNSTC will operate about 200 special buses, an official release issued here on Thursday said and called upon people to take advantage of the same for a safe and comfortable travel.
