Ramadoss seeks deletion of portion in textbook

June 11, 2012 01:38 am | Updated 01:38 am IST - CHENNAI:

Ramadoss on Sunday asked the State to delete a portion immediately in the Standard X social science book, in which Hindi is described as the national language. Terming it a grave blunder, the PMK founder called for criminal action against those involved in preparing the book.

In a statement, he said no language was declared national language and Hindi was only an official language.
