With the publication of SSLC results, parents and students have thronged reputed private schools in the district for getting admission to Class XI for the academic year 2015-16.

Huge crowd could be seen outside many schools in the district that have produced many State rank holders, both in Class X and XII, for many years now.

Many of these schools have already conducted entrance test and based on the SSLC marks admissions are made. Applications were distributed and fill-in-applications were submitted by parents to these schools from Thursday. But parents of students who have appeared for CBSE examinations are a worried lot as they fear that their children would be denied admissions to these schools if results are delayed. Sources said that the CBSE Class X results are expected to be published on May 25 and these students would also be admitted to Class XI in these schools.
