Police on look out for two in connection with seizure of fake Aadhaar cards

The Tirupur police are on look out for two Bihar natives in connection with seizure of Aadhaar cards from eight Bangladeshi nationals arrested earlier this month.

The police are after a person named Midhun and his friend, who were staying at Avinashi.

According to the police, the duo left for Bihar two months ago and did not return.

The police have already arrested two other men from Bihar - Ramshi Varma and Ravinsankar Singh in the case.

According to the police, Varma and Singh had worked in a nationalised bank in Bihar for an outsourcing job before coming to Coimbatore. They allegedly used forged documents and details of other people for making Aadhaar cards that were recovered from the eight Bangladeshi nationals who were staying illegally in Tirupur.

Teenager dies

A teenager from Attur died after he suffered an injury accidentally inflicted by his elder brother while playing with a pair of scissors.

The deceased was identified as S. Praveen (18), a native of Keeripatti village near Attur.

The police said that the siblings were working in a knitwear company at Kallampalayam. Praveen suffered a deep wound on his chest when his brother Manikandan was playing with a sharp scissors on Saturday. Though he was taken to a hospital, he died on Sunday morning.
