With the PMK also backing the BJP in the September 18 by-elections to the local bodies, the constituents of the NDA, put together for the Lok Sabha polls, have come together once again.
Though PMK founder S. Ramadoss announced that his party would abstain from the by-polls, he changed tack after State BJP president Tamilisai Soundararajan and organisation secretary Mohanrajulu called on party president G.K. Mani and sought the PMK’s support for the BJP candidates.
