Palayamkottai police are on the lookout for a headmaster who allegedly threatened an Assistant Elementary Education Officer. The police said that John Duraisamy, headmaster of Panchayat Union Primary School, Santhaipetti under Seevalaperi police station limits, went to the office of Assistant Elementary Education Officer L. Kalyani in Palayamkottai recently and had a heated argument with her. It was alleged that he verbally abused her and issued a death threat. Based on a complaint from Ms. Kalyani, Palayamkottai police have registered a case.
